Aperture API

ApertureAPI — Public API Guide

ApertureAPI reconstructs digital holograms into quantitative phase and height data over HTTP. Send a hologram image and its optical parameters; receive a ZIP of results.

Pages, in reading order

  1. Quickstart — reconstruct one hologram, no account needed.
  2. Verified facts — what we claim, and the committed artifact behind each.
  3. Use cases — who this is for and what a pilot looks like.
  4. Pilot program — how a paid validation pilot runs.
  5. Community and listings — where we list this project, and exactly what we say in each room.
  6. Pricing — access tiers.
  7. Tier & rate limits — what each level allows.
  8. Authentication & signup — getting an API key.
  9. What you get back — contents of the result ZIP.
  10. Errors — what each status code means.
  11. Health check — liveness.

What we do not claim

We do not claim measurement accuracy. Absolute height accuracy, per-pixel uncertainty and repeatability are reported as not-yet-established in our own result reports, and the traceability field is false. That is deliberate and it is in writing in every report we produce. What we do prove is that the same input and configuration produce the same result, and that anyone can recompute it. See the verified-facts page.
