Partner Signing — the Packet and the Path

Audience: every member of the sales flock, and any prospect who asks "what would signing up actually involve?" This is Lane B (partners: the free validation, then a Software or Hardware Design Partnership). Most prospects only need Lane A: the signup link from page 09. Everything linked here is public; you can paste any of these URLs into an email without clearance.

The public reference packet (send these links, in this order)

# Document Public URL What it answers
1 Product & docs front door https://api.apertureapi.com/docs What ApertureAPI is
2 Quickstart https://api.apertureapi.com/docs/quickstart "Show me it working" — two-step token + reconstruct call
3 Signup https://api.apertureapi.com/signup How the account is created (one form, key on the spot)
4 Tier limits https://api.apertureapi.com/docs/tier-limits What the trial account can do
5 Plans & pricing https://api.apertureapi.com/signup#plans What it costs after the trial (pay-as-you-go or monthly, by card)
6 Free validation https://api.apertureapi.com/docs/pilot-program The document a partner reads before signing — process, acceptance threshold, data handling, NDA timing
6b Design partnerships https://api.apertureapi.com/docs/design-partnership The two paid offers that follow it: Software ($10,000) and Hardware ($25,000)
7 Blank LOI template 11-partner-loi-template.html The one-page letter both sides sign

The pilot-program page (#6) is the load-bearing document: it defines the engagement a partner is actually signing up for — threshold agreed in writing before any data is seen, NDA (if required) signed before any frame is transferred, and the paid next step (Software or Hardware Design Partnership) named before data. The LOI references it rather than restating it, so there is exactly one source of truth for validation terms.

The path, start to signature

  1. Qualify (persona + the pilot page's qualifying question).
  2. Send the packet — links 1–6b above in one email. No attachments.
  3. Scoping call — per the pilot page: target, frame count, reference measurement, acceptance threshold. For trial-only partners (no validation yet), the call scopes the workflow the trial will serve.
  4. Fill and send the LOI — copy the blank template, fill every [BRACKETED] field, send for signature. Nothing outside the brackets may be edited without operator approval.
  5. Countersign and file — operator (or the sales manager with written delegation) countersigns; the signed copy is filed and the prospect log moves to LOI signed.
  6. Activate the trial — partner signs up and runs a first real reconstruction. That API event is the activation artifact. The 3-month trial clock starts at signup, so send the signup link once the LOI is countersigned, not before.
