Contact Databases — The Prospect Universe

Audience: the sales flock and its manager. This page is where the actual outreach data lives. Read page 09 — the operator guide first: it defines the offer, the personas, the claims discipline, and the engagement flow. This page gives you the names to run that flow against.

Handling rule (read twice): these files are for the sales flock's own outreach only. Downloads require the sales-flock sign-in (ask the sales manager for the password). Do not repost them, upload them to any third-party tool, or mass-mail them. Every email is researched and personal.

Where volume comes from: these lists are the high-value, personal lane. Signup volume comes from Lane A on page 09: the no-account upload form, the public signup page and every listing in pages 01–08. Put your ?ref=<your-handle> signup link in every email so anything a contact forwards still counts toward you.

The three databases (download links)

File Rows Orgs Lane
prospect-universe-a.csv 667 470 Equipment users — DHM/QPI labs and authors already running digital-holography rigs. The main outbound lane.
prospect-universe-b.csv 206 206 Equipment provisioners & metrology orgs — OEMs, integrators, optics fabs (APOMA directory lineage).
design-partner-targets.csv 29 29 Design-partner labs for the Software ($10,000) and Hardware ($25,000) Design Partnerships (page 22): biomedical QPI/DHM, industrial metrology/QA, university DH/interferometry. Extra columns: dp_segment, dp_priority, why_fit, budget_source, first_contact_channel. No contact addresses: source them from the evidence page.
design-partner-log-template.csv — — Your design-partnership log (page 22, Step 7).
industrial-inquiry-log-template.csv — — The industrial-inquiry sheet for page 21.
prospect-log-template.csv — — Your outreach log. Keep one copy; send it to the sales manager every Monday (page 09, Reporting).

Columns are the same in all three: org, country, segment, person, role, contact, contact_type, evidence_url, notes, status.

The status vocabulary (what you may and may not do with a row)

Status Meaning What you do
V-CONFIRMED Person and affiliation verified against a live directory/CV on a dated pass (see the note in the row). Mail-ready. Personalize from evidence_url and notes.
V Org + evidence verified; person-level check not done. Verify the person still holds the role (lab page / directory) before mailing.
P Prospect — sourced but unverified. Research first. Never mail a P row as-is.
DUP Duplicate of another row (see notes for the primary). Work the primary row only.

Never-mail rule: any row whose notes say "do not mail", "address removed", or describe a wrong-person email address is exactly that — the address was removed because mailing it would reach the wrong human. Re-source the contact from the paper's own author list or the lab page before any outreach.

How to work the list, one step at a time

  1. Pick one V-CONFIRMED or V row in your assigned lane. One.
  2. Open its evidence_url and the org's lab page. Confirm the person, the rig, and the role are current. (Facility qualification needs the per-instrument sub-pages, not just the landing page.)
  3. Qualify it against the checklist in 10 — partner signing: right persona, rig in a qualifying workflow, named human.
  4. Write the email using the persona lead line from page 09 and the public reference packet links from page 10. Claims discipline applies — copy only from prepared blocks.
  5. Log it in your copy of the prospect-log template (page 09, Reporting). Progress is countable, not described.
  6. A reply → pick the lane. Most replies go straight to Lane A: send the signup link and they're on the free 3-month trial in a minute. Provisioners and labs that need a formal answer on their rig go to the page-10 path: qualify → LOI (11 — template) → trial activation. The offer is the free 3-month trial; a qualified lab that already runs holography or interferometry may also be offered the design partnership. Nothing else.

Escalate to the operator before responding if a prospect mentions any prior promise (especially anything "for life"), asks for pricing exceptions, or requests claims we cannot evidence.

Where these files come from

The CSVs are build-copied verbatim from the in-repo research base (marketing/icp/), which is the single source of truth. If a row is wrong, report it to the operator — do not edit the download. Re-verification notes in the files are dated; rows older than ~60 days deserve a fresh look before mailing.
